Also, my stomache/abdominal is bloating and hard, sometimes it looks like im pregnant. It feels like heart burn, kinda gassy... any idea what this is? 10 points best answer. PS, when i burp it feels a lot better.when i hold my left arm up, if feels better because i can breath better (allergy season) and when i left the hospital i had anemia so they gave me iron pills which i took for a few weeks now im off of them but im wondering if my heart doesnt have enough blood? moreOpen Question: Possibly Pregnant w/ Negative Hpt ???? Is it still too soon to test??? PLEAASE HELP?
Ok so here is my original post. Below you will see the update... Ok. So my periods are really regular every 31 days. I always know when I ovulate because I have the abdominal area pain, and the cm mucus changes to strechy egg white consistency. Confirmed by online ovulation calendars as well. I ovulated on 6/19, I also had the normal ovulation symptoms. Late that night I had sex. Since 2 dpo I have had symptoms like nausea, headaches, breast tenderness and blue veins on my arm chest and a large one that is raised going down to my breast. My period is suppose to be due tomorrow. But I have alot of creamy white lotion like cervical mucus. I had a lab blood test 5 dpo it was negative. I also did two hpts the last one was this last sunday still negative. I never get pms symptoms like this especially very close to ovulation. If anything its some cramping a few days before. But I dont know what to think. Any ideas? * 3 days ago * - 23 hours left to answer. Additional Details Ok so I took a hpt and there was a very faint negative line, generic store brand. Boobs still very sore, even just sitting down. My period should be due tomorrow. 2 days ago UPDATE My period was due yesterday I am almost two days late. Today I took a hpt and it was negative. I also had a visit with my ob gyn that didnt go to well first he was an hr late. Second he was rushing me. He told me for my headaches and naseau to see my primary care dr. Than he did a breast exam, asked if I had breast cancer in the family andtold me to take vitamin E and flax seed. He said there was a 5% chance of being pregnant. He didnt even tell me why my breast have been painful for the past two wks. Anyways on to my symptoms I have slight cramping (like im going to get my period), bloating, headaches on and off, breast pain still, and I feel some pains in the lower pelvic area going to my leg (upper thigh kind of) hard to explain. ANYWAYS my ? is this although I am almost 2 days late on my period could it still be possible that HCG levels wont show till later??? Thank you moreOpen Question: what could cause lower abdominal pain in a woman?
often during menstruation, but different than cramps. it's on my left side, always the same place, right on my ovary. feels like sharp gas pain but this has been going on for several months and has recently gotten more painful during the day and during sex and when i sit down "wrong." ob/gyn has talked about getting a laproscopy to look for endometriosis. i also had an ultrasound 2 years ago that revealed fluid, indicative of a cyst. could these be symptoms of either a cyst or endo? any personal experiences with similar pains?it's a constant pain that peaks randomly throughout the day, every day. moreOpen Question: pregnant or period confused?

I recently posted a question about this, but I feel I need to revise it as I wrote it in a panic. Earlier this evening, or morning? At about 12:00 midnight, my dad and I were laying in the living room. He was on the couch almost asleep, when all of a sudden he shot up and kept saying "that's weird." He was complaining that his throat felt as though it was swelling. My first thought was an allergic reaction. I was born with severe allergies to many different foods. He said he felt like he was going to vomit and kept saying it "felt weird." My dad is the kind of person who could sever his arm and say he's fine, but tonight he said he wanted to go to the hospital, which alarmed me. My mom gave him two Benadryl and went to the hospital. I stayed at home to watch my brother and his friend. They actually went to the fire station to find the paramedics because we are currently on vacation in Maine and weren't sure where the hospital is located. The paramedics said that if he wanted he could go to the hospital, and if not he could go home, because they couldn't tell if anything was seriously wrong with him, but he said he still didn't feel right, so they are on their way to the hospital now. Now, before he left I observed some distinct symptoms that I would associate with an anaphylaxis. The thing that bewilders me is the time between the consumption of his previous meal (shell fish) and the onset of the symptoms. He ate seafood around 7:30 PM and the symptoms didn't onset until around 12:00 midnight. His obvious symptoms included, coughing, tears, swelling of the throat, raspy voice, nausea, or abdominal pain and anxiety. He also quit smoking earlier in the week and has been using the nicotine patch and gum for the past few days, if that helps at all. Other than that I cannot think of why these symptoms would come so rapidly and randomly. Any advice you have would be great. Thank you.I just called my mom and they have him hooked up to an IV of epinephrine dilution. I heard him through the phone, he sounds like a toad. His voice is even raspier than when he left. moreOpen Question: can any body tell me what these symptoms may indicate?
about a year ago i realized that i had some muscle twitching. As the month went by they became more frequent and noticeable. to make matters worst some other symptoms developed. fatigue, muscle ache and weakness ALL OVER my body, redness and swelling in my feet during small exercise during the day as simple as walking a few blocks. lack of bowel moment with no pain, pain in the upper left quadrant of the abdominal cavity, tingling in my hands and feet, sensitivity to light that eventually leads to migraines. I have been to doctors but they cant find anything wrong with e and i think my docs thinks im making up my symptoms however i am assured that i am not and that they are just getting worst. i been on a birth control ( implanon). i just cant seem to find anything online or with any specialist i visited, can anybody help me please?I am 19 years oldI have seen a neurologist and had an MRI and it came back fine moreOpen Question: Cramping after sex. Been going on for a few weeks, whats going on?
I'm on birth control (Lutera) and I've been on it for awhile. My last period was supposed to come on the 16th but it was 2 days late and only lasted 4 days (usually comes on time and lasts about 6 or 7 days). My boyfriend and I had sex on the 17th (day before period came) and he pulled out as he always does. On the 23rd and 25th we had sex again and he came inside me. Since then I've been having some abdominal pain and for the past few days I've been bloating. The pain is mostly on the left side and it's kind of dull with sudden sharp twinges. I'm having problems sleeping and feeling a little bit sick. I'm feeling a bit irritable but my breasts feel normal. I don't know if I could be pregnant or what. It's a bit too early to take a test, my next period isn't due for another week and a half. We always have unprotected sex (he pulls out every time except those 2 times I mentioned before) and I don't know what to think. We're both clean (no STDs or anything) I would just like to know if anybody has had this happen and then ended up being pregnant. I've also been breaking out a lot on my face and some bumps on my shoulders. Thanks for any advice (please don't be rude) moreOpen Question: Is there a heart valve disease that causes elevated systolic and diastolic blood pressure?

Ok so for about a week and a couple days now I've been feeling as if something's been putting pressure on my lower abdomen and sometimes it even hurts. The day after i started feeling the pressure/pain (i guess i should call it discomfort) i started my period and so i left it, thinking it was menstrual cramps. Now it's over and i still feel it. Anyone that knows me knows i love to eat and eat but now i seem to have a loss of appetite...I told my mom if she could make a doctors appointment for me to be safe. What am I in for when i go to the doctors? Is it serious? I'm 16, female, NOT PREGNANT for sure. moreOpen Question: really extreme abdominal pain during a period?
My period started two days ago, with slight cramping at first, and the usual headache. I took a few extra strength Ibprofen, and the headache left. The cramps did not and have worsened continuously for over 24 hours. My flow is not as heavy as usual, I have had a few BMs - normal consistency, but caused pain in my abdomen each time. Urinating is AGONY. Moving is AGONY. Stretching is AGONY. It feels like someone is sawing through my gut with a serrated knife every few moments. I have tried: ~ More Ibprofen, which does not even lessen the pain. ~ Some no-name robaxacet, containing acetametophen and methocarbamol (usually makes me relax no matter the 'cramp'. Didn't lessen the pain.) ~ Warm Compress (did nothing) ~ Warm Bath (even though it was gross) ~ Masturbation (which almost always works, but did nothing!) ~ Stretching and moving around (which hurt so much I was gasping for air) The warm bath seemed to help a little, but as soon as I got out the pain returned like I'd done nothing. Pressing the area hurts - the area it hurts is my whole lower abdomen. The only time I've felt halfway comparable pain is when I had an abortion (well over 5 months ago with several harmless and relatively CRAMPLESS periods in between) - and oddly enough during this month's ovulation, which eventually faded away. I'm going to have to miss work today because I don't think I can stand to work like this. I am 28 and have had my period for 14 years. Seriously, I DO understand what cramps are and these are REALLY off the beaten path. Is this something other than cramps? Is there ANYTHING you can suggest to make the pain go away? moreResolved Question: What is up with my IUD?
Had Mirena inserted about 8 weeks after the birth of my first child. Crazy painful insertion, bled continuously for about 4 weeks. Went back after 1 month for recheck. Doctor said it looked great and the bleeding should taper off after another week or two. It hasn't, and to make for even more drama, I can no longer feel my strings. My husband has even checked and he can't feel them either. Called the doctor, spoke to nurse and she said that "the strings would soften over time and curl up around my cervix." Okay... Bleeding is progressively heavier throughout day, culminating in some pretty serious abdominal cramps and back pain by the evening. Called the doctor back yesterday and they want me to wait until September to see if I am still bleeding then. By that point, if it doesn't stop, I will have been bleeding continuously for almost 5 months. The doctor that inserted it has left the practice and I really don't care for the other two. Have made an appointment tomorrow morning at another clinic. What could be going on? Is this normal? moreOpen Question: abdominal pain and chest pain. Really long - a lot of detail?
So to start off I am 18 years old. I know that everyone says that I should go to the doctor, and I have. So just a brief background I use to have many headaches for a long period of time while I was in middle school, after a while they went away and came back around when I was in high school. Eventually they left. I've never had any serious injury, or disease, never had heart problems Alright, it all started maybe around the time I was a sophmore in high school. 16 years old to be exact. I started getting slight pain in the left side of my chest. It sometimes feels like a needle is piercing through and it hurts. Eventually they would go away and come back, I told my mom, but we both thought it probably wasn't a big thing. One day when I was in school I start getting like a piercing needling pain through my left side of the lower abdominal area. It hurt so bad, that I actually started to cry, because it was the first time it had ever happened. There was a period of time in which I started to vomit and the color was black it didn't happen for a long time, but maybe around 7 times in total.I told my mom and at the time she was working at a clinic ( she's a medical assistant) and she let him know about my abdominal pain and he recommended a few foods to try to eliminate the pain so I did. For a while, the pain went away. As the days were passing eventually I would have abdominal pain in the same area and trust me it had nothing do with my period or anything. I also had some chest pain. It bothered me, and it hurt, but since I just kept bothering I always wondered whether there was something wrong or not so I never really knew. When the pain came more often my mom took me to the doctor. The doctor ran some tests and he sent me to a cardiologist and they also took blood samples. When the results came, they found that I had had the H pylori and I was treated for that, when the results from the cardiologist came, he said that I just had a little murmur, but there was nothing to be worried about. While I was being treated for H pylori I got sick for about four days. During those four days I started to feel really light headed, there was a point where I kind of sort of passed out I think. I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth until I felt like I was shaking, but I didn't really know what was happening and it happened twice. When I told my doctor, she said it was just probably because I was sick and there was nothing to be worried about again. After a while my mom asked for the lab results from the blood samples and such, in one of the areas, I realized that my potassium level was not normal, it was a little higher. The doctor didn't say anything so I didn't and haven't made anything from it otherwise, they would have told me right? so, the thing is that I'm still having the pain in both areas, I told my mom that I still have it, but she doesn't really acknowledge it because she thinks there isn't really anything wrong with me because the doctors said nothing was wrong. The pain is there, but I don't tell my mom anymore because she thinks I'm really probably making it seem like it really hurts, but she thinks it is all psychological. The thing is that the pain is also now on my right side. People tell me to give it a rating of how much it hurts, but all I can put is maybe a 5 out of 10. Like it hurts, but now it just bothers me because it is there. When I first had the pain, it made me cry, but now since I guess I've had it for so long its more like I just have to live with it. Someone, I really need your help. What to do or how to say something? Please. I've had a serious conversation with my mom, but I guess she just thinks I'm making too much of it. My mom is caring and everything really she is and she loves me and my brothers. The thing is that when every one else tells her they have pain, she actually acknowledges it, but it seems to me that because I am always telling her how I feel that its probably me just overeacting and its psychological and I think she thinks that I'm weak or something because if I have a pain I tell her. One last thing. I tend to feel a small bit of pain all over my body, jsut randomely like again a needle piercing ( one one certain area of times) and I feel like it hurts and I just want to hit almost just so that the pain can go away. not the whole needles and pins where you can't feel your arm or anything. I might be confusing but if anyone can help please do so. moreOpen Question: Abdominal pain/soreness 8 months postpartum?
I had my beautiful baby girl 8 months ago. The pregancy was somewhat complicated with pre-eclampsia, a severe kidney infection and I am anemic, so I had to have a blood transfusion. For the past eight months, though, I've had a nagging pain across my upper abdomen, right up under my ribs and it goes into the left side of my back also. It feels sore, almost like the pain I had from my kidney infection-just across my upper abdomen. I have had three full body scans since giving birth to make sure my kidney is ok, etc. and everything is fine. Does anyone know what this soreness might be? Ever since spring break(last week of march, I believe), I've had nausea most of the time, abdominal pains that come and go, and diarrhea sometimes. I have nausea about 80 percent of the time. My abdominal pains are usually to the lower left side, or on my left side, towards my back and a bit underneath my ribcage. The first months of my sickness were the worst, and during that time I hardly ate anything because I was horribly nauseous all of the time, yet I never vomited. Sometimes I would have soup, and I drank water. I had diarrhea during those 2 months also. I lost about 20 pounds. Then, I started to take probiotics daily, and I took garlic, ginger and Cayenne tablets also. That seemed to help somewhat. I went to the doctors, weighing about 155 pounds now, and described my symptoms. They took a urine and blood test, and when we got the tests back, they were fine. We then went to an outpatients facility at the hospital, and they preformed a glucose tolerance test. They told me that I was borderline diabetic, even though my tests came back fine, but my blood sugar was somewhat high-normal. I now weigh around 145 pounds, but this time I'm losing the weight through diet and exercise. The symptoms are still present, except for the diarrhea, which I have not had in a while. I also have shaky legs sometimes, and headaches. For the past two nights, I have not been able to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night, feeling horrible and nauseous. Does diabetes cause these symptoms? Can anybody relate to what I have, or whats wrong with me? Anything that may help nausea? I'm 13 years old female. Thanks in advance(:Thank you for the suggestions so far! I actually am talking to my parents. My mom is the one who pushes natural remedys on me (shakkras, natural herbs, sacred G, ect...). The problem is that I don't have insurance:( I was going to a private pay doctor, and even then we could hardly afford it. I'm going to try to see a doctor again, though:) moreOpen Question: lower backache mystery?

I'm in college and my only option for a doctor/gyno is the university medical center on campus (off campus doctors offices won't see a university student without a referral from the campus clinic). I went to the women's clinic because of problems during my period. I get extremely exhausted to the point where it takes a LOT of effort to function (which sucks for school and makes studying a pain), I have back and upper leg pain (kind of muscle aches.... like how it feels when you have pulled muscles), I have blood clots during the first few days that range in size from a dime to silver dollar size. I also feel like my period is unusually heavy in the beginning, I have to wake up in the middle of the night to change my pad or I'll wake up with a gross mess. I get extremely cranky and one wrong thing and I can be in tears. This has been happening for the last few years with all of these symptoms getting increasingly worse. The one good thing about my periods is that they've always been like clockwork coming at exactly when I think they will lasting the exact number of days I expect. I told the University clinic nurse all of this information. They immediately ask me how many sexual partners I've had in my life, the age I lost my virginity, the last time I had sex and if I could possibly be pregnant. Then when the doctor came in I told them that I feel like I loose a week of my life because of my period and that my symptoms have REALLY been interfering with my life. The doctor says "well you know what we usually do for this don't you", I have no clue....then she says "I'm gonna start you on birth control". So I've heard that people are put on the pill to help with period issues, and I trusted the doctor. I went in there expecting to maybe have some routine bloodwork run, a PAP smear/full exam done, and maybe a urine test...but they did none of that. I was never actually physically examined. I was put on sprintec (b/c it's cheap and was supposed to help with my moods). IT WAS HELL. I was on it for 6 months and I never had a regular period. I'd get 2 periods a month, some lasting 2 weeks at a time. I experienced severe abdominal cramping which on more than one occasion left me curled in a ball crying hysterically. It felt like someone was wringing my uterus out like a dishtowel. I've never experienced abdominal cramping that severe or intense in my life. I called the medical clinic and left a message for the clinic's gyno to call me back listing the problems I was having. I was told that what I was experiencing was normal and I should just "stick it out a couple months" until my "body gets used to the hormones in the pill". It never got better. I noticed that while on the pill I went from being a generally upbeat, fun, happy person who laughed all the time to someone who cried and got depressed over everything. I tried talking to the university gyno about it and was told it was all normal while my body was adjusting to the BC. After 6 months...I couldn't take it anymore and stopped taking the BC. I'm frustrated b/c I feel like the doctor didn't take me seriously. I know that my symptoms ARE NOT NORMAL....and I wouldn't have gone to the doctor over normal PMS...but my period is REALLY interfering with my everyday life. For a week each month I barely have the energy to get out of bed, I can't workout because of the back and leg pain, I go off on EVERYONE around me because I feel so bad physically....which makes me feel like a complete and utter bitch. I don't know what could be wrong. I don't know what kinds of tests I should ask for (when I had the flu....they tried to give me antibiotics for "food poisoning"....I demanded to have a rapid flu test...which came back positive....and the doc to said "well..I was wrong about the food poisoning...good thing you made me think to test you for the flu....these antibiotics wouldn't have helped you at all). What should I ask them to do? I know they should have done a "yearly" exam and maybe some bloodwork....I don't know what could be wrong. anyone been through symptoms like this? moreVoting Question: Serious Medical Assistance?
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a 14 year old male, and have had no real medical issues. I seem to get sick fairly often though. During the past 2-3 weeks I have had inconsistent pains all around my body. I have also had a varying fever in the 98's to 101's. The pain began in my neck and moved constantly. Within the next week I had sharp wrist pains, that soon passed, and I had pinching pain in my knee and hamstring. The neck is the only symptom aside from the fever that stayed the same. The left part of my neck and my skull are less then half of the total area. What concerns me most is a red ring around my left nipple the size of a tennis ball, after finding a small "tick" like bug in my lower abdominal about two weeks ago. Any and all help is appreciated. I am going to a doctor tomorrow morning, but I need to know if it is necessary to go to an Emergency Room tonight. Thanks again. moreVoting Question: Sharp Left Side Abdominal Pain?
I have been having pain on my left side, in the Abdominal region for the past day or two. It has gotten really severe today. If I breathe too deeply it causes a sharp pain on my left side. I have also had constipation since these pains began. And I can't flex my Abdominal Muscles either. What could this be a sign of? Should I go to the doctor? the ER? I was put on birth control when I was 16 due to heavy periods, irregular and severe pain during my cycles. The pain I have been having reminds me very much of the cramping I would experiance during my cycles as a kid. I am making an appt, with my gyn since I need to go anyways because its been 16months since I last went. I just wanted to see if anyone on here had any ideas or insight about what could be causing this pain. I wasn't concerned before and thought it was normal untill last night when after my husband and I had sex I was doubled over in pain, the most severe I have ever felt (I have not felt pain like that since I gave birth the my daughter). Me being stubboron would not go to the hospital and took some motrin (which is how I allways deal with the pain) and it subsided within a few hours. I have noticed my lower stomach just kinda feels icky and when I get the severe pain it shoots all the way into my lower back. I do not feel as though I am pregnant and took a test just to make sure, and it turned up negative. Please if anyone has any simmilar experiances or has a clue, drop me a note! moreVoting Question: I feel constipated even though I have regular bowel movements? How do I fix it?
for the past three or four days, i have been feeling constipated. i have occasional abdominal cramping, feeling of fullness, and mild to moderate pain in the upper left quadrant of my abdomen at times accompanied by pain in the left floating ribs. I have had regular bowel movements and there have been no changes in the diet, water intake of sleeping patterns. i don't really understand whats causing this and how i can cure it. moreResolved Question: Been to the ER Three times, High BP, losing feeling in left arm, abdominal pulsations, what to do?
i have had chest pains, left arm tightness, abdominal pulsations for two months(not to mention high BP). Im 23/m and I have an appointment with my PCP in a week and a half and an appointment for a echo cardiogram in two weeks, but i'm starting to think I have an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. My stomach pulsates and I thought that was connected to heart palpitations, but I'm beginning to think it's something else... I have no idea what to do, the ER doctors cannot find anything acute going on, but I know there's something happening and I want to do something before it's too late.i have had four ECG/EKG's done. all came back normal except for some palpitations. and i have had two chest x-rays. they didnt see anything wrong with the size of the heart. moreVoting Question: left lower abdominal pain?
I'm a 36 year old male. I've recently started having a lot of pain and discomfort in my lower abdomen(primarily left side) sometimes I feel it in my groin area, my hip, and my lower back. I have no other symptoms. bowel movements are normal, and do urinate frequently, but I always have. My stomach tends to make a lot of noise as well. I've been checked for a hernia(no hernia). I just had a ct scan of the abdomen and pelvis yesterday. Any ideas on what this could be? I also had a urinalysis, that turned out fine. moreResolved Question: someone help, im pooping every 5-10 minutes or so and i cant make it stop?
it started on tuesday. the day before i felt great, came from work, had the time of my life. went to sleep, woke up the next morning feeling so weak, air conditioner hit me gave me chills, then i couldnt stop chivering, also when i woke up i threw up. later i got a high fever and abdominal pain, my arms hurt (almost like the bones themselves), i had a headache. then the diarrhea came and i threw up again. next day, (wednesday) my headache went away, the chills went away, the arm pain went away, the vomiting went away but the diarrhea and abdominal pain stayed. thursday came and the abdominal pain left but now i am stuck with diarrhea, running to the toilet every 5-10 minutes when my stomach growls. i dont really crap anything but 'poop juice' (sorry didnt mean to sound nasty) and this little specks of crap that as soon as i flush the toilet they break, disperse and turn to liquid (kinda like those flavor drinks that you drop the powder in the water, shake and you got juice, like that). today is friday and i am still having diarrhea but thank god thats all. what can i do to make it stop?yeah, i realised now that if its stomach flu then most likely it'll take me 1 to 2 weeks for my bowels to readjust and function normally again. ima try to head to wal-mart asap to buy me some imodium ad and see if it'll help me readjust quicker. moreVoting Question: Ughhh i feel sick!! For the past 5 days I've had a lot of pain in my lower back, abdominals, my left side cramps up real bad, and my heart hurts. I've also been very gassy and it hurts sOOO bad. I got really sick 7 months ago with.... fever, headache, vomitting, abdominal pain so bad i couldn't walk, diarrhea, and bloody diarrhea. I was sick for 2 weeks and had lost about 10 pounds and got very skinny. i went to 4 doctors that couldn't tell me what was wrong....it had either been ulcerative colitis (my uncle has it which increases my risk) OR a parasitic infection called giardia that had been transmitted by a ferret i had bought 7 days before getting ill...... the doc wanted a colonoscopy but i refused.......i had a stool sample that came back negative for everything (eggs/parasites, etc. everything NEGative!)...... i was put on metronidazole which is an antibiotic which seemed to wipe it out in about a week......... but NOW i'm back to hurting again.......... my symptoms are listed at the top of the question... i've been pooping a lot (about 3-6 times daily) and sometimes it's diarrhea..... my pain isn't as bad as it was 7 months ago because i can still walk BUT i've been trying to workout (i workout about 6 days a week, eat 1800 calories a day, and eat completely healthy)......... and I can't workout anymore because i hurt so much....... i can still lift weights but i can't do cardio or elliptical...... i have gas pain sooo BADLY on a daily basis no matter what i eat..... Can anyone offer advice or something that can fix this????? i've tried gasX and beano but they didn't work...... moreVoting Question: Was/am I going dying?
The other day I was sitting in a parked car, in Las Vegas. As you may know, it gets really hot here. After I'm not sure how long in the car, I started to go into a state of delirium I guess. I was seeing everything shaking back and forth really fast. Just a few minutes after that started my mom made me get out of the car to yell at me. I left walking and was gone maybe an hour. By the time I turned and headed home, I was feeling really weak. I didn't think I would make it home. I was dizzy and couldn't stay focused. My chest was heavy. I was not breathing normally. I felt like I was only taking in a breath every 10-20 seconds instead of consistently. My heart was beating very slowly, or at least felt that way. After that and for the next couple days, I would get sick after taking a drink of water. I still have some abdominal pain. Was I going to die? And should I be worried about this? moreVoting Question: period is 2 months late with 3 negative tests.?
ok, i don't know where to start beside i have been trying to figure out if im pregnant for the past 2 months. i haven't made a doctors appointment yet but i definitely will i just would like to know if anyone els is or has gone through this. My last period was on 4/13/09. two weeks after that i spotted (one spot) when i wiped it was light pink. then 2 weeks later i spotted again (two spots) still very light pinkish brownish. i thougth it to be implantation bleeding. befor i spotted the second time i was feeling alot of fatigue and very minor nausea but i didnt think anything of it, untill i started getting a small dull pain in my lower left abdominal. then i missed my period. I thought for sure i was pregnant, i could feel my body changing, i would drag myself out of bed, and then get to the office and drag myself around the office having to yawn every couple of minutes. However after my first missed period i took two pregnancy test (the ones with he lines first response) but to my surprise both of them came out negative. So i thought OK!!!! maybe i just missed my period, but now i have already missed two periods. I was feeling pregnant all the way up until last week. I even got gas pains a couple days ago, my sister said they are normal, but i have NEVER had any type of gas pains before. I took another test last night, which came out negative, and another one this morning but it showed an error sign(?) i used the first response gold digital test. i am frequently having to use the bathroom up untill now, but i no longer have the dull pain on my left side, and no longer hungry or tired all the time. Could i have been pregnant and lost the baby or could i still be pregnant? I just dont know what to think anymore!!! anything will helpif i am pregnant i would be close to 10 weeks. moreResolved Question: this just isn't normal, please help?
okay, well this all started about three weeks ago, and back then my symptoms were: - three days after my period - lower pelvic, and back pain (mainly left side) - quite bad Was told I had a Haemorragic cyst on my ovary (bleeding cyst) - apparently this was normal... pain went away after about 5 days Since then, I have had on and off lower back pain, and sometimes abdominal pain. I have been getting very constipated, and bloated. The constipation is not the typical constipation, but it is like - I can not move my bowels - never any poo in my rectum, it feels like it gets blocked somewhere befre it enters there, and just can't move - use of laxatives it's like it just can't move through my system! sorry for the grossness! and also, on my back (lefthnd side) is a lumpy thing, that is internal (not on the skin) it is not visable, but can be felt. When you feel it, it kind of feels fluidy. I need some help, i'm only 14! I've been internet researching and it keeps coming up with scary things, like a spinal tumor, or ovarian problems. What is it?
Today I was at a theme park with friends when all of a sudden I got hit with sharp abdominal pain. I decided it was gas and to fight thru it, since I've had it before. However, we went to a restaurant and got food but the pain was so bad that I couldn't even move to eat. I couldn't lean forward or back and laughing hurt really bad. I've had gas pain before, but this was incredible. I touched my belly-button and it hurt to the touch, it felt like it was going to explode. On our way back to the theme park, I was once again trying to tough it out so as not to ruin my friends' day at the park. Finally, about an hour after the pain started, it subsided. It left as quickly as it came and I was fine for the rest of the day. What do you guys think that was? For the past few days I've had a discomfort/pain in the lower left side of my stomach. It's not REALLY painful, or a sharp pain...it just feels a little painful, like it shouldn't be there. I've also been having what I think is a yeast/or UTI infection (burning when I wipe/pee etc). I don't know if this has anything do to with it...but I've experienced this pain before and I didn't a yeast/ or UTI infection. It always last a few days and it's on and off and never been unbearable, but it's starting to scare me. I'm scared it's a cyst or something? What do you all think it is? Please help me! :( moreResolved Question: Does this sound like pregnancy or something else?
I had sex 8 days ago. We used a spermicidal condom and we were very careful, so don't think I am irresponsible, and the sex went fine, no pain or anything. About 2 days after sex, I began developing a pain in my lower abdominal area. 1 day after that, I began experiencing an urge to urinate, even when I did not really need to. This has gone on until tonight, when I developed a severe pain under my ribs on the left side of my body. Does this sound like pregnancy or something else? I have not had any other "signs", like feeling pregnant, swollen breasts, nausea, morning sickness, etc. moreResolved Question: 6 weeks and one day with abdominal pain?
I am 6 wks 1 day pregnant. I had a pelvic exam today and now I'm having cramping and some sharp pains in my left pelvic region. I did have a cyst on that ovary previous to pregnancy and thought perhaps that this could just be symptoms of another cyst on that side. I did talk to my OB/GYN about it and am scheduled for an ultrasound tomorrow morning to check out the ovaries. She said that she does not believe it could be an ectopic pregnancy, but there can't be 100% certainty until we see where the pregnancy implanted, and tomorrow may even be too early for that. So I was just wondering if anyone else had a pelvic exam and had this type of discomfort after early in pregnancy? Thanks to all in advance! moreVoting Question: Why did public health call me today?
Ok so I had the WORST abdominal cramps and diarhea for about 5 straight days, a fever at the start of the illness, with chills, that went away after a day but the abdominal cramps had me in tears. I was taken to the ER and they found out i didnt have insurance so basically treated me like crap. They gave me some morphine and and IV and later sent me home with antibiotics and pain killers, they said the cat scan revealed some intestinal inflammation... that was the last I heard. Was never told what to eat, or what this was, or anything, last I was told was to take a stool sample in, the stool sample order was to test me for ecoli.... I scheduled a follow up visit with my primary physician for tmrw. But never got a diagnosis or anything... Now the public health department called and left a message about my "recent diagnosis".... what I am wondering is, 1) WHY the public health department would call me? 2) Do they only call if you have something serious, such as ecoli? 3)How would they have a diagnosis before me? Or are they guessing? Im not sure but I would love your input, Im sure I'll find out tomorrow what it was but the suspense has been killing me. moreVoting Question: Do I have ecoli and no one told me?

Ever since I was about thirteen (i'm now 25) I have gotten crippling pain in the lower left part of my abdomen with horrible diarrhea. I had an upper gi and colonoscopy at 14 and have been to the ER recently and they find nothing and the ER staff make me feel as if it is all in my head. I know that its not and I am stuck sitting in my bed not able to move because of how bad the pain is. I just want to see if anyone else has had this problem or what I may be able to do to be a normal person againThanks Angela... I have firgured out the ER after going there NUMEROUS times for the same problem and everytime they do their tests and always come up empty handed. They diagnosed me as having IBS which I had been diagnosed with before any of these problems started it gets so frustrating! I just want to know what is wrong with my stomachSo many thanks to those of you that have answered! I am going to call my doctor to get the name of a gastroenterologist. I know its not my gallbladder that came out in 2007 when my daughter was a month old. I know its not IBS the medication they gave me for that did absolutely nothing to help at all! more
