Okay so I've hit that uncomfortable stage of the pregnancy. Not getting good sleep, seem to only get contractions now when I'm finally relaxing for the day (at night prior to bed) can't get comfortable leading me to toss and turn for hours at night which then leads me to only 5 hours of sleep a night if lucky. Having another child I can't just sleep when I want, only when he sleeps. But that's not really the questions the question is ... How can I make myself feel better, all I have is horrible pressure in my lower stomach and I feel like there are lots of pins and sharp shooting pains in my vagina. It's very uncomfortable, and I don't even remember feeling like this with my first child. Suggestions? Or am I pretty much going to be feeling like this until the baby comes with no sign of relief? more

It was a hot sticky day in June, a great month for my parents to go on their 10th anniversary to Hawaii. They left me to take care of my 1 year old sister Lily and my golden retriever puppy the whole week they are gone. Luckily they are coming back in two days, because this is a handful. I’m fourteen, so I obviously want to have a life, and to go out with friends on these beautiful days, but I’m responsible so I can handle it. After about an hour later, I ordered pizza for lunch. We went inside and I put Lily in her highchair, and cut up her pizza, and gave Chase a piece and went to watch T.V. I closed our living room curtains, because the reflection of the sun was shining off the T.V. It was dark in the living room, just like it was night time. I think this made Lily tired, so I put her in her crib for awhile. After watching T.V for about an hour, something strange happened. The T.V flickered on and off twice. Then a couple seconds later I heard loud rain drops hitting our roof. Their must be a lot because of all the loud dropping noises they made, rain never really bothered me, until now. I’ve never heard it this loud before, the drip dripping sounded like it was about to crash through our roof. I went to my bed room to close the window, and once I looked out I noticed the sky a dark blue and purple. I must not have noticed, because the drapes were covering the outside in the living room. Once I closed all the windows, I started to walk over to Lily’s room to check if she was okay. My house was a beige and brown colour, and it was way too big for our small family. I crossed a lot of hallways and rooms, and then finally made it to Lily’s. She was sound asleep. I think the rain relaxes her. After walking back to the kitchen, thunder struck. It was on the medium scale of being loud, but still scared me half to death. I think it scared Chase to, who got him up and barking, Which Unfortunately got Lily up. Running to her room once again, I picked her up and hugged her tightly. There hasn’t been many thunder storms, so this is her first. I decided to go call my parents, and inform them and ask them for advice on what to do for thunderstorms. Once I called, my mom picked up. She told me some defecating news. A hurricane was destined to hit our area. It was starting. My mom thought it would pass, so she didn’t want me getting worked up over it. I told her it started as a thunderstorm, and is going on right now. Just as she was about to tell me what to do, the power went out. All went dark. All except for the bright blinding flashes of lightening that struck every three minutes. The rumbling thunder turned so strong it started shaking our house. I went to go look outside, and seen the sky even darker then before, almost black. Was this possible? The trees where swaying so violently they were almost touching the ground. The sudden rain started to flood the streets. Cars were stopped in the middle of the roads. A big bright flash of lightening smashed down to the ground. I jumped back, and screamed. Lily started crying really hard. I picked her and Chase up and ran into the bathroom and closed the door. Every time thunder hit Lily would cry and Chase would bark. I held on to both of them tightly. I heard a smash outside and realized it was the window in Lily’s room. Just to make sure, I went to look out the bathroom door. Once I looked out of the bathroom, I couldn’t see anything, so I decided to take some steps out. Once I did, I closed the bathroom door, keeping Lily and Chase safe. After a couple steps out of the bathroom, I felt an excruciating pain in my right side. I fell to the floor, hitting my head off the wooden floor. I laid there for about minute, dazed. Then I felt a warm liquid on my stomach. I got up to look at my stomach, and saw a 5 cm deep cut. I’m guessing it was from glass. I started to walk to the kitchen, more aware of my surroundings. Everything was destroyed. Everything in my living room and kitchen was mixed up all over the place. Glass and pieces of furniture lay there, ruined. I scurried around looking for a towel. Every time I would move, I would cut my leg on something sharp, like wood or glass. I reached the bathroom and sat back into the bathtub with Lily and Chase. Both we’re crying because of my absence. I took the towel and wrapped it around the cut on my stomach. I started to listen to the crashing of everything outside of our small bathroom, and to the thunder and lightening, and the wind, and slowly drifted. I was loosing too much blood, and drifted to sleep. When I woke up, my vision was blurred. I had a major migraine and I couldn’t concentrate. Once my vision cleared, I seen my parents leaning over me, calling my name. “Brittany? Sweet heart are you okay?” I’m pretty sure that was my mom. I replied back to her, telling her I’m okay. I asked her where I was and she said I was in the hospital. That woke me up. I asked her lots of questions, and she told me this:My parents started to come home after they heard me hang up from the phone, they realized something dangerous would happen so they came home right away. When they came home, The house was barely standing, and inside everything was destroyed. She said she found me and Lily in the bathroom, and blood all over the place, so they brought me out of town, to a standing hospital. She said that now we’re moving into this town, and are starting a new life. Lily was also severely injured. She got hit by something caused by the hurricane. Lily could have been worse, but when a piece of wood was coming at her, Chase tried to protect her, and got hit by the wood, and was so injured he had to get put down.This is a grade seven story so haha :] more

Open Question: PROBLEMS WITH BOYFRIEND?

I am getting a bit fed up with Graham and my relationship with each other and his parents! I feel his parents always win, he went for counselling today, it is a 10 week course which means he won't be able to come up and see me very often, as i live 90 miles away. I will have to keep driving to his home I'm not that keen on driving,l I have driven a few times to his home just for a few days in between my anxiety course and my dad with dementia being ill. I don't think Graham's parents will be that keen if he wants to drive up to me for a few days, he is disabled but I am too, I get a lot of back pain with scoliosis, am waiting to go to a pain clinic. My dad is in a residential home with dementia so I couldn't stay with Graham 10 weeks, be apart from my dad as i don't know how long he'll stay well for. He has had pneumonia twice and a pin in his hip in the last 8 months! I am already starting to feel anxious although I have just finished an anxiety course, I seem to fit my life around going to see Graham, there's no one in the family stopping me from going! I think his parents want him there to help them out particularly his mum, she's depressed herself and both Graham and I think she needs counselling herself. Last year Graham's dad had a foot operation so Graham didn't come up to see me very often as he couldn't leave his parents! I have always left my parents even when my mum was frail, a few months before she died although I didn't really like leaving them, I don't my dad either now he has dementia! I sometimes think that perhaps Graham should get someone else locally and that we're not meant to be, his parents will have won then as he'll be at their beck and call! I think part of the reason he gets anxious and no self esteem is due to their attitude, not letting him have a life! I am supposed to be going to Graham's at the end of this week, I have previously driven with eye infections and stomach upsets. Open Question: Severe morning sickness and nausea (Not pregnant)?

Every single morning before I go to school, I feel to so sick to even get out of bed. My stomach sometimes hurts like crazy so it all but prevents me from going to school. When I met him, he was a very obese man. I saw a lot of beautiful things in this man, and I didn't care about his size. His sense of humor and calm nature attracted me. We had a lot in common, and eventually I gave in and married him. His obesity was caused by too much beer and food. I saw the vast amounts eaten, and I worried for him. He had a great tolerance for the drinking and I rarely saw him drunk. It was something that made me concerned, but all the wonderful things about his character and personality outweighed his problem. My children accepted him as a stepfather and adored him. They still do. But something seriously changed after he got the bariatric surgery. He continued to lose weight and about half-way there he started doing bad things. First, he started getting drunk and acting drunk because the surgery did something to his stomach. He couldn't handle alcohol and would get drunk easily. Then he started making passes at my friend. He started talking to a woman via text, and their conversations were very innappropriate. He set up an adult-dating account to try to meet women. I have found he sneaks to the backyard to text secretly. He freaked out if I pick up his cell, and he hurries to delete "evidence." He even makes passes at my friend a second time, and tried to convince her to meet him secretly. The man is dying to get sex. I am upset because I've been nothing but a supportive, understanding wife. I won't lie. I have reacted like a crazy bitch when I discovered his stupidities. I can't even tell you how much I love him. I love him so much. But this last episode has left me feeling a bit braver and number and that will help me leave him. He cries and says that he doesn't know why he behaves like this. I've even thought that maybe he feels trapped and he has me on the backburner until he finds someone. In one of the texts that I found, he is telling the woman that I am not his true love, and that maybe one day he will find the love of his life that is in California. When we fight, he gets this mask of arrogance and (still semi-drunk) blames me for everything. I've scratched him up and slapped him in my rage when I dicovered things and he persues me after I've asked him to back off. I know that is stupid of me to get violent, but the man harrasses me and says more cruel things and I lose control. The last scratching incident was when he was hiding something in his phone texts, and we wrestled for the phone for like 30 minutes straight. I don't even remember clawing him up. He acts like a domestic abuse male-victim because of my scratches. God knows that if I got violent, it was because I got crazy with pain. I am not an abuser. What am I doing here? He is messing with my mind. He knows my achille's heels and reels me back in with his love and kindness. He convinces me that it is the last time. It has been like a half-dozen times that he has been "busted." But the funny thing is that he hasn't fully consumated his attempts to cheat. He gets off by stimulating himself with texting and Iming women online (not to mention the daily porn viewing, which I have no insecurities over -- but is it all related?) How can he be so kind and nurturing while sober and become this sex demon while drunk. I don't even know if he it is the alcohol that does this. I mean, there is no excuse, but I wonder if he's be a cheater if he quit his drinking lifestyle. So he hasn't actually has the opportunity to physically cheat, but its like he is hungry for it. He swears he loves me. But it doesn't matter if he really does. This is about me STOPPING my pain and suffering and getting out of this psychological/mental/emotional abuse. Hello, im a 20 years old and i have had approx 7 UTI's in the last year. I was firstly told it was because of sexual intercourse and was told to go the toilet before and after which I did and that didn't help at all. Then is started to happen every time I had been out for a drink on a night out, I told my doctor and once again I was told I had a UTI, not what was causing it. just given another load of antibiotics. I haven't had it for quiet a while now but yesterday it starting stinging every time i went to the toilet, it settled down by the evening. However I woke up this morning with a really bad urge to use the toilet, and I have started urinating blood, quiet a lot at that. I took myself to A&E and i started to get really bad back pain, I told the doctor and she said I had everything in my urine which i shouldn't. I told her about my back pain and she said she didn't know why I had that as she felt my kidneys and didn't feel tender. She then wanted to see if i could stomach water and wanted me to drink 2-3 cups. i had about 2 sips and ran to the toilet to be sick, I told her and she just said "oh" like she didn't believe me as she wasn't there, she was at reception. I have once again been put onto antibiotics, but im sitting here very uncomfortable from my back pain needing to wee every second. Im sick of getting this and just being given antibiotics as obviously it isn't working. I have tried cranberry juice and all that and nothing is working. Any ideas? please help. Thank You :) more

I was diagnosed with Pleurisy about 8 or 9 days ago, I have taken the antibiotics religiously!, When I first went to the hospital I only had pain in my left rib, The pain isn't severe, Just uncomfortable, And is only there a few hours of the day, But my question is, Is it normal for the pain or discomfort to spread from one spot to another one lung to another, It even sometimes hurts in my stomach? Prologue The sun was shining but it brought no warmth. The clouds brewed and boiled casting dark shadows over the world. The rain fell contently. The wind reeked of putrid flesh. Standing atop the holding shed I looked around in disgust at what I saw. Below me cattle walked aimlessly by. The herders had latched onto a weak one and had gathered around its neck. I jumped down as the cattle finally moved on. Turning I saw Blaze suckling a young one. Seeing me he grinned and pushed it away from him. I strode swiftly over and swiped at the boy. He stumbled back and belted for one of the doors on the other side of the pen. Turning back to Blaze I bared my fangs at him. Laughing Blaze clapped me on the back and showed me through another door. This one led to a high ceilinged room that had given me the chills since the first time I had been allowed in here. It was filled with people. Blaze led me over to one of the larger groups. I ignored the friendly smiles and leaned against the wall. I could hear the beating of the cattle’s hearts outside. Looking down I saw Dameon almost sucking my hand. I then realized that the pain I was feeling were his teeth. I screamed. Mr Barrett started shouting as well. Dameon was a vampire. I struggled against his hold but his hand tightened around my neck. My breath became shallow. His fangs bite deeper into my hand. Mr Barrett pulled out a knife and plunged it into the vampires back. So im a security guard working overnight at the mall (11-7). Im typing this from our office, unfortunaltely the toilets are clogged and thus I have no washroom to revelive myself in. I will then take a puppy, tie him down onto a table and slice its stomach open so that you can watch and listen as the poor puppy writhes and screams in pain for a full ten minutes, I will then rub its freshly dead corpse all over your face, after which I will knock you out, again, so that the last thing you remember this time is the metallic smell and salty taste of warm puppy blood, which goes great with veal especially with a bit of ginger ground in. Once you wake up i will shove a puppy through your face, yes THROUGH your mother f$%^ing face, so that when you die and go to heaven and Saint Peter asks you how you died your only response will be somewhere along the lines of "...What...The....FU&*!!!!" you will then begin to sob and convulse in front of the Saint and he will be so disgusted with your answer that he will automatically fling you into Hell..where i will be waiting after commiting suicide and killing the rest of your freinds and family in a similiar fashion as your own demise. Next year I plan on trying out for the high school softball team. My sister tried out last year but didn't make it because she was not physically capable (she smokes). I know my body is strong enough for it, all of it except for my lungs ( I blame it on my mother and my two sisters for smoking) I'm not exactly sure what happened but one time I really started having problems with the smoke, having to cover my mouth whenever it entered the area around me. My lungs are a huge problem when it comes to running, I never feel pain in my legs or anything just my lungs. I tend to stop and force myself to breathe through my nose or slowly. Also I breathe with my stomach not my lungs, do you know anything I can do to get my lungs back in strength, like any exercises besides running?Um, if you read it correctly I am not trying to loose weight. Ok... So I started my period on 12th of June, so right now I'm coming into my fertile period, but at the moment, I just feel a bit 'off' I have never noticed this before as I haven't really been keeping track of my fertile times, and I only started charting my temps this month, so I suppose I'm just more aware this month then I have been in other months. i took an indocid in and inserted in in the anus and about 2 hours after taking it i feel worse then before i took it for perios cramps. This is the first time i have used it. I always have a pains in the back of my head (constantly for two years)? For two years I have had a pain in the back of my head that never goes away (and I mean never). I a 17 year old male and the pain changes at random times but for the past two weeks it had been worse than ever. Out of 10 I would give the pain a 4 or a 5 at worst and a 2 at best. I have been to a GP, physio and dietitian but none have helped me. I also have a minor pain in my stomach which I think is unrelated but the doctor thought could be a big lead on what is causing my pain. Open Question: nausea and pain prior to bowel movement?

I should probably start off by saying that I have very few bowel movements each month (3-4?), which I never really thought about until recently. One day while I was at home, I started feeling dizziness, nausea, stabbing pains in my stomach and sudden coldness. It all came in that order. I thought the dizziness may be due to dehydration. I was unable to puke. The pains were just above the area of period cramps and had a completely different and far worse feel to it. I actually screamed to my husband to call the ambulance, but shortly after he heard me.. I felt the sudden urge for a bowel movement?? So I did my business(no straining) and right afterward, I felt normal again. This has happened twice in the last 3 months so it doesn't seem like enough to go through the embarrassment of talking with someone face to face about it. Has anyone had the same experience or know what this could be? Is this normal? I honestly don't know whats normal anymore *sigh* more

Open Question: My chest has these weird sensations?

I am a 24 year old male and Sometimes I hurt right in the middle and it feels like a muscle because i can push the muscle and the pain temporaily goes away and i hurt on the sides that also feels like its on muscles and right next to my nipples and below my shoulders. I also feel this strange feeling like water running through my left chest which only last like a second. Open Question: Should I get the flu vaccine?

I haven't had a check up for a year or so, and usually when I get sick from anything it's a cold and I just let it pass. I have never had the flu, nor have I been vaccinated for it. I am paranoid with the spread of this virus around people whom I know and feel the need to get the shot, but I am worried about the negative effects. I heard that one can actually get the flu from the shot, the concept of which sounds awful. Also, I think I may be allergic to eggs, which the vaccine is composed of. Whenever I eat one egg or more I get a stomach ache. Never a terrible one, but still, it's unenjoyable. However this is the extent of it. I've never thrown up nor had any worse effects, so I eat eggs on occasion, and I'm also wondering if this is bad for me beyond stomach pain. more
