Open Question: Probably a stupid question, but...?
Okay, so I have two boys already, and another on the way. The first pregnancy went fine with no problems, minus having had my period for the first couple months. The second went great except I was miserable for the last month due to a UTI and Braxton Hicks contractions. I'm due August 18th with this one, and the BH contractions have already started. My doctor said everything was fine, and just to keep an eye on his movement. Everything seems fine in terms of his movement. Here's my question. Just about every time the boy moves, it hurts really bad, and sometimes when I get up or just at random, it feels like there's a boulder in my stomach ready to pop out. I've also noticed a few sharp pains in the vaginal area when he moves, but I can slightly recall doing that with the last two as well. Question is: Is any of that normal? I have an appt with my doc on Monday, but I wanted to get some other opinions before I went in! I'm curious because lately I have pain one side of my stomach/back, I'm having to make myself eat(no appetite) and I'm constantly running to the bathroom to urinate....I KNOW T.M.I lol!) I've never had a UTI, but for some reason this came to my mind on one of my MANY trips to the bathroom. Ok so I think should start my period soon or should have already started. I don't really know when because it's kinda irregular. But for the past month I have been getting a pain in my right lower part of my plevic area. Not like cramping but more like an actual sharp/dullish pain. And now it's more like pinching kinda. I've also been getting shooting pains up the right side of my stomach and a pain below my belly button. Could this becaused by a UTI because I think I have one or could it be something more serious. Ok i am only fifteen but yes i had sex. SUE ME!! Whatever but i hadnt had sex in like three months and i have pregnancy symptoms but i could just have something wrong with my ovaries or something. But um yeah is it possible that it would take that long to get pregnant?? PLEASE HELP. Oh yea i still have my period so i dont think im pregnant and i should be getting it in a couple days or so. But i thought i had a kidney infection because i had the symptoms and i had a uti before so i took antibiotics that i had from before. So the next day my mom took me to the doctors and took a pee test and they said i didnt have an infection and she said i might of had it but the medicine would of masked it. So she ordered that i keep taking the antiobiotics eventhough she wasnt sure i had a kidney infection. And the pain in my stomach persisted. I thought it might of been that i wasnt drinking enough water because i never drink water! so i started to drink the daily amount ewwww and i still dont feel better. My doctor suggested that i may have bad periods and that ill just keep feeling like that but these symptoms started in the middle of the month and i get my period in the very begining. And she suggested i take a pain reliever i dont know if that really helped but i even feel like im going to puke right now. Oh yea, also i was jumping on the trampoline with my friend the other day and i was like peeing a little bit! I always had pains on the left side of my stomach ever since elementary school and the nurse only put ice on it :/ it was severe pain! And a few weeks ago i noticed when i was going to bed it felt like i had to pee and yeah all these symptoms started happening and i still feel sick and also it hurts when i run!!! PLEASE HELP IM SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My symptoms: 1. My lower back hurts 2. I feel like im going to throw up constantly 3. Sometimes im dizzy when i wake up 4. Constipation (sometimes) 5. Diarahea (sometimes) 6. Random pains on my body 7. Bloated 8. Loss of appetite 9. Heavier discharge 10. REALLY BAD CRAMPS AND SHARP PAINS MOSTLY ON MY LEFT SIDE!! 11. How do I go about talking to a doctor about all my symptoms??? Just print out this list of problems I have (probably not even all of them here) and say "What's wrong with me, doc?" What do I say when scheduling the appointment? They usually ask for a quick description of why you are going. Like you think you have the flu or you might have a UTI. But I have NO idea what all of this is and how I can stop it. I'd be happy if I could even stop just some of these. Because I'm 19 and for so many years I have been in constant pain. And it's getting to me. Sometimes I just stop and fall to the ground and cry because of how young I am yet how much pain I feel everyday. But I haven't brought it up the the doctors yet because they never listen when I start saying my symptoms, they always interupt me and are rude. And I'm so uncomfortable about them I hate talking to them. --Migraines (basically continuous, headaches every single day, migraines at least 4 times a month) --At least 4 or 5 times a day I have to take a big breath in and breathe out deeply. Even when I am sitting down doing nothing. I'm just forced to take a deep breath. --I get cold-like-symptoms in heat at first. When entering a warm room or higher heat outside I start sneezing like crazy. I do this EVERYWHERE so it's not an allergy to one specific thing. This goes away within minutes usually. Though when I went from OH to AZ in the winter, I was sneezing constantly for over 2 hours after landing in the warmth. Lungs burning and everything. --I have cold-like symptoms probably at least 250 out of the 365 days of the year. Colds in the summer are more common than winter. --Sometimes it feels as if someone is squeezing my heart and it makes it difficult to breathe. --I have called it my stomach, but evidently it's below my stomach. Like kidneys and bladder or something. But I would get terrible stabbing and ripping out pains almost twice a week, which would leave me bed-ridden and in screaming pain. --I get UTI and yeast infections like I get paid to get them :/ It seems like it's almost constant. I would say almost once a month. The very least, once every two months. --I get dizzy a lot --Nauseous a lot --Memory loss (not really severe, but it's affected my work and personal life negatively) --I don't do too well in the sun. Start having trouble breathing and get dizzy and whatnot. --Hyper ventilating problems. --Loss of interest in stuff. --Loss of interest in sex --I have problems falling asleep --Every single night I wake up in the middle of the night between 3-4 am (for at least 2 months, now) --Sometimes I get the feeling like someone is squeezing my lungs and I have difficulty breathing. --Bad stomach problems --When I know I'm going somewhere without a toilet near (like a park) or when I go out in public where there will be people (like a party or something) I get really nervous that I won't have a bathroom near and I will have to go, so my stomach starts hurting and I have to go to the bathroom like 7 times before I leave to go places. --I've been very on-edge lately and cranky/depressed. --Random mood spurts where one moment I will be crazily hyper and in a good mood, and others (after hearing a non-nice comment or something) I instantly go to a bad mood and get all b*tchy. --Randomly I get VERY hot, then moments later I get VERY cold, and so on and so forth. --When I was younger I would always get strep throat. Like at least twice a year. Now if I get them, they go untreated. --I recently went to the doctor and got diagnosed with a bad UTI and bad yeast infection after the UTI. The urine came back that I had a ridiculous amount of Protein in it. And 100,000 colonies of e. coli grew overnight in it. And my urine is always cloudy and foamy. Has been for a while. I researched high protein levels and evidently those two things are symptoms, too. --I get very nervous easily lately. Ex- My bf and I stopped at a "bog" trail. It was surrounded by trees, weeds and such and the bridge/path was very narrow. Normally, I love nature and want to stay in it longer. But a motorcycle guy drove up right after we got out of my car and started walking by my car. So 1/4 the way through I started freaking out that maybe the guy was stealing my car (with my purse in it). So I started breathing heavily and walking fast and basically freaking out. Another thing is After Thanksgiving Day Sales, every time we were in the long lines waiting, I had to stop and get out of line a few times because I got overheated and couldn't breathe and I had the feeling like I had to go to the bathroom constantly. -Sometimes I don't feel like eating for days on end. For two weeks recently I actually had to force myself to eat because I just didn't feel hungry. I have a really bad UTI (yes yes I know I should go to a doctor and get a prescription, I am making an appointment right now) and I took AZO and then ate some food. Immediately I threw up, and I know stomach upset is part of the symptoms, but Im not sure if I threw up the AZO so I'm wondering if I should eat some more and then take it again? I NEED relief now!! Ok so it started the night before last. i had been having period like feelings in my stomach and then all of a sudden BAM my side and back just busted out in pain. It hurt so bad i could barely breathe. then after a few minutes it eased up, and came back again. it left that night and returned that morning after i ate breakfast. This time it was in my stomach too. I went to the hospital and they hooked me up to that monitor and said there was no contractions and i told them it was because they had went away. they said that my cervix was closed and thick. and they checked me for a UTI and ididn'tt have one. so theydidn'tt do anything else.didn'tt give me any kind ofexplanationn and sent me home. when i asked what it could be they told me "a number of things" anddidn'tt elaborate. has anyone else had this happen and could it be serious? moreResolved Question: im taking macrobid for a uti and experiencing stomach pain?
this is my fourth day on the medication, and today i just started getting a dull pain in my left lower side. I feel, even though its been over 12 hours since i took the pill, that i want to burp with lots of gas build up, or that i want to throw up. Should I keep taking the medicine or just wait? For the past few days I've had a discomfort/pain in the lower left side of my stomach. It's not REALLY painful, or a sharp pain...it just feels a little painful, like it shouldn't be there. I've also been having what I think is a yeast/or UTI infection (burning when I wipe/pee etc). I don't know if this has anything do to with it...but I've experienced this pain before and I didn't a yeast/ or UTI infection. It always last a few days and it's on and off and never been unbearable, but it's starting to scare me. I'm scared it's a cyst or something? What do you all think it is? Hello, im a 20 years old and i have had approx 7 UTI's in the last year. I was firstly told it was because of sexual intercourse and was told to go the toilet before and after which I did and that didn't help at all. Then is started to happen every time I had been out for a drink on a night out, I told my doctor and once again I was told I had a UTI, not what was causing it. just given another load of antibiotics. I haven't had it for quiet a while now but yesterday it starting stinging every time i went to the toilet, it settled down by the evening. However I woke up this morning with a really bad urge to use the toilet, and I have started urinating blood, quiet a lot at that. I took myself to A&E and i started to get really bad back pain, I told the doctor and she said I had everything in my urine which i shouldn't. I told her about my back pain and she said she didn't know why I had that as she felt my kidneys and didn't feel tender. She then wanted to see if i could stomach water and wanted me to drink 2-3 cups. i had about 2 sips and ran to the toilet to be sick, I told her and she just said "oh" like she didn't believe me as she wasn't there, she was at reception. I have once again been put onto antibiotics, but im sitting here very uncomfortable from my back pain needing to wee every second. Im sick of getting this and just being given antibiotics as obviously it isn't working. I have tried cranberry juice and all that and nothing is working. Any ideas? please help. Hi All, I am in my 16th week of pregnancy and the belly is the same as it was in my 13th week.I don't see any increase in its size??I feel as if I have lost some weight also,though I am taking a proper diet.Earlier I used to feel hungry frequently but now the appetite is reduced,but I do eat something at regular intervals.I am really worried about my weight and belly size please help me. Also my stomach pains ,sometimes in the lower abdomen and sometimes in the upper portion near the naval.The pain lasts for a second or two and then goes.Its something a cramping pain.I have checked with the doctor for UTI but its not any infection.Can anyone tell why it pains?? Also ,as I am in my 16th week so wanted to know can I bend and do little bit work like picking and keeping back things?? I had pretty severe stomach cramps down near my uterus. It was uncomfortable if I sat down fast, leaned back too far and/or laughed and coughed. Peeing would also hurt, not like a UTI it was more like a muscle pain/pressure, no burning. It only lasted for a day or two. I've been a little more nauseous and my boobs are very sore. I took a pregnancy test just now and it said negative. I don't get my period with the type of bc I'm on so I don't know what to do. Any other explanations for the symptoms? A few days ago I felt the sudden urge to urinate constantly but only a small amount would come out. I knew this as a sign of a UTI immediately so I began drinking white cranberry juice and red cranberry juice, plus water just to help clear out my system to remove any bacteria I could. I figured I would do this before making an appointment with my doctor just to see if the juice and water would clear it up first. Days later now I am doing MUCH better than before, hardly get the frequent urination feeling and my stream is steady like it was before. However, I have noticed that since it's gotten better, I have had a rather sharp pain in my back on the right side and very lower back? And I also have a sort of minimal feeling of bloating in my stomach which wasnt there before. Also, very rarely, but it does happen, I find that when I wipe after urination, VERY little almost barely visible red blood appears on my toilet paper. It does not happen everytime I urinate but I did notice as it has happened maybe 2 times all in all. Very little blood though. All the while, my urine is back to normal like I said and throughout this whole ordeal my bowel movements have been like normal and consistent, no changes there. Also, throughout this whole thing, my urine has not changed in smell color or anything like that its been the same in that sense when I first felt a UTI and thereafter as it got better. If anyone could give me some information about what might be going on I'd appreciate it! :) I am of course going to my doctor just to be 100% but it has been on my mind all day, and I'd like some info from anyone who might be able to help for now. Hi there, well here is the scoop...I am trying to conceive a baby and I believe it's possible that I am developing a urinary tract infection right now, due to the ache in my stomach/bladder/uterus area. I know that at this point implantation cramping is possible, but I am beginning to wonder if it is a UTI due to the pains and cramping becoming stronger and a little more constant. Now, I apologize if this is TMI for some people, stop reading now if you are easily grossed out, fair warning...I recently took a home pregnancy test (I collected urine in a cup) and discovered pulpy looking things in my urine...wondering if that is a sign of a UTI...Should I be headed out the door to the doctors?Frustrated, but not waiting another minute...off to the doc. Now when I went to fill this prescription, CVS told me that they were incapable of getting this drug or any of it's generics from the company, and that no other pharmacy around would carry it. So I waited two days until my next appointment, and told my doctor... He got very upset that they didn't call him or anything... and he prescribed me with something else. This was yesterday. CVS told me they would have it for me by today. Now yesterday I was having sever nausea, stomach cramping, and diarrhea. Diarrhea like liquid. TMI, sorry. Today, I am having back pain, pelvic pain, nausea, stomach cramps, and diarhea still... And I have not had any heartburn, and usually I'm popping Tums like candy because of the heartburn. My question is, is the UTI causing all of this? Does anyone have any experience with a UTI untreated for four days during pregnancy and having all these symptoms? Please help guys. ok so for about the past 5 days i have a sharp pain in my lower stomach, near my right ovaries. i went to the doctor today and they did a urine test for uti pregnancy and other test everything was negative! i also have tender boobs and headaches. the pain gets really sharp whenever i pee they scheduled me for an ultrasound in the morning but does anyone know what could be wrong? moreVoting Question: Does anyone know why my shih tzu lays down and shakes? I have a 7 year old shih tzu and he has had these weird episodes this past weekend. He lays on his left side and puts his neck kind of up and he tries to stand but his head looks like its stapled to the floor, sometimes he shakes and sometimes not. The episode lasted an hour + saturday, about and hour and a half sunday morning and 15 minutes sunday night, then 30 minutes monday morning. We took him to the ER saturday they said it was a seizure (but we dont think it was because seizures dont last an hour plus) we took him back sunday morning after it started again, they said he is having neck pains which again we dont think it was, monday after it happened we took him to our vet and they diagnosed him with a UTI. 800 dollars later he started doing it this morning for 2 hours (its tuesday) My family and I think hes having some kind of organ problem like in his stomach or intestines. I forgot to mention he has been having some bad smelling gas and during the episodes his stomach makes a gurgling sound... It hurt during intercourse too. Like he was hitting something inside. Then after sex it really hurt, I had to lay on my stomach to try an relieve some of the pain. Now it's only faintly there. It may just be me being paranoid though. My breasts are tender when I put pressure on them. It's not too bad though. I ended my last period about two and a half weeks ago. I know the pain could be an ovarian cyst or a yeast infection, maybe even a UTI. Does the breast tenderness have anything to do with this? I have a check up and everything tomorrow at the gyno because I was going to go on birth control. I just want to try and be a bit informed before I go in. I've also noticed my discharge has had a bad smell lately. The first time I had sex was about two months ago, might it just hurt because I'm not as used to it?I never had unprotected sex! I have not had a period for over 2 weeks now and i have been having lower stomach pains. I think i may have a uti. It doesn't burn to pee i just have to use the restroom about every 5-10 min. I went to the doctors and he said the reason why i have so much pain is because i was ovulating. But i'm not pregnant because i have had a negative test. What could be causeing my to not have a period? I've been to doctor after doctor after specialist after specialist and after several years and thousands of dollars, they still have not come up with anything. So I'm asking here. Not to get an accurate diagnosis, but just asking people suggestions that I may bring up to my doctors so that they know where to stem off a research into. Currently I see a regular doctor (everything else), Neurologist (migraines), Dermatologist (suspicious mole removal) and a Physical Therapist (cervicalgia). In the past I have gone for an MRI of my brain (nothing showed, but was over 4 years ago and things are much worse now), Upper endoscopy (for terrible stomach pains like stabbing and ripping out of organs, that was also organs below the stomach, as well. Nothing found over 3 years ago), Ultrasound of my stomach (more research into stomach pains, nothing found over 3 years ago), and Echocardiogram (after heart attack like reaction at age 19, nothing found). As a kid I was always sick. The only serious medical problem that I know of during childhood is that I had a bad fever convulsion at age 2. And I was always getting in trouble with how many sick days of school I was taking. Never having to repeat a grade, but just making the cut each year. And my health gets worse and worse each year. I don't think it's all in my head and I'm making up these illnesses. If that were the case, I would be able to take over the counter medicine and think it's fine. But absolutely NO over the counter medicine works on me. I might as well eat a candy bar to make me feel better. So here are my symptoms, in no specific order: --Migraines (basically continuous. I researched high protein levels and evidently those two things are symptoms, too.----------------------------- I just noticed it got cut off on the end! Normally, I love nature and want to stay in it longer. But a motorcycle guy drove up right after we got out of my car (new, by the way) and started walking by my car. So 1/4 the way through I started freaking out that maybe the guy was stealing my car (with my purse in it). So I started breathing heavily and walking fast and basically freaking out. Another thing is After Thanksgiving Day Sales, every time we were in the long lines waiting, I had to stop and get out of line a few times because I got overheated and couldn't breathe and I had the feeling like I had to go to the bathroom constantly.-Sometimes I don't feel like eating for days on end. Sometimes I feel like eating 24/7. For two weeks recently I actually had to force myself to eat because I just didn't feel hungry, but I knew I needed to eat because I can't just not eat. I lost almost 15 pounds that two weeks. Sorry it's SUPER long, but that's all that's going on with me that I feel is abnormal. I may have missed some things. I don't know, I have a really bad memory :/ So does anyone have any idea what's going on with me? ANY suggestions are helpful. Again, this is NOT in replace of going to doctors. This is to get an idea of things to bring up to the doctor so they could look into it.I've had migraines for over 5 years and the high protein was never noticed in the past in any of the other tests (the first time I heard about it was early this March, and it wasn't as bad), so I think it's newer and I don't think it's related to the migraines. Ive been having unprotected sex almost everyday for 2 months now and i havent gotten my period since april 17th but when i got tested in the beginning of june it was negative. I have a UTI that started on thursday and on friday when i wiped i saw a bit of light pink blood on the tissue and the next day it was back to normal no more bleeding. I never got my period this month and i have cramps like i'm gonna start. But I took several tests and they all were negative. I just took a blood test today so i will find out the results later. im 19 yrs. old. ive been with my bf for 2 yrs. now. im a nursing student. and a baby is not in our plans anytime soon. BUT, I recently had a UTI and had it months before but didnt take care of it because no insurance or doctor. About a week ago I got a really really bad pain in my stomach...so I went to the doctor and got antibiotics for this UTI. Well I had my period a week before that UTI ordeal, but lately I've been feeling really bloated and full and it doesnt go away. I'm on birth control never missed a pill or period. My bf and I do have sex towards the end of my bleeding cycle. IS there any way I could be pregnant? I havent had any symptoms of pregnancy other than bloating. I'm still on the antibiotics for the UTI. PLEASE! I'm panicking and need some advice! I'm not ready for a baby, I havent finished college yet. AND my bf just graduated. I went to the doctor the other day for a physical, and they found out that i have a UTI. I have had these things on and off my whole entire life.. I just got a new doctor, and this is the first time that one has ever treated my infections so seriously. Most of the time, I have been diagnosed with minor bladder infections that have went away with drinking tons of water. But this time, I have pain in my stomach and pressure around my kidneys and LOTS of gas. The doctor said that I might have a condition known as interstitial cystitis. She said that I have most likely had this UTI on and off for several weeks according to how long my strange symptoms have been present. I am not confused as to how I got it - I know. I started drinking a lot of soda over the last couple of weeks, and I never drink soda. I have also slacked off on drinking water. I am sure that is what brought it on..I thought I was over getting those infections by drinking soda, but obviously not.. The only thing is that as soon as she prescribed me the antibiotic, that night, most of my symptoms started to subside after drinking a ton of water that day, I also went out and bought some cranberry pills. So now, I wonder if taking the antibiotic would help? It is called Macrobid. Has anyone ever had any weird side effects from this? And, can the UTI go away on it's own? My symptoms seem to be subsiding, but I am not 100% sure of exactly what I should do. I just do not want to take a medication that is going to make me even sicker. and i have a 2 year old that i have to take care of..... I am REALLY weary of prescription drugs because I always seem to experience some type of side effect... I try to stick with natural remedies. Sorry so long! This is what has been happening lately. October- Stopped birth control 4/18/09-Last normal period-lasted 7 days-heavy as usual Usual 28 day cycle. 7 days. Heavy flow until day 5 then lightens up and stops on day 7. 5-17-09-Got a "period". It was kind of heavy for one day. Then the next day i spotted pink and brown. Woke up the third day to a few brown spots and that was all. I've been having abdominal pain and it has been becoming increasingly worse everyday. Today it woke me up around 5. I went to the bathroom and I had to push so hard to go, and then it was really cloudy. My stomach hurts in front, under my ribs and it spreads down into my lower abdomen and into my back...on both sides. I also have the urge to go, but when I do there's little-nothing. I feel so much pressure in my abdomen too. I'm going to try to drink lots of water today, my doctor told me it was irritation the last time this happened. so about two nights ago, i was awake the whole night with this stomach pain that would come and go, over my whole abdomen. the next day my stomach was a bit bloated, and i was having pretty bad lower back and lower abdomional/pelvic pain - mainly to the leftside. I've had normal periods, normal bowel movements and normal urination. and the pain has just steadily gotten worse, and moved to the rightside as well. i have had my appendix out. my whole lower abdoment hurts to touch. i went to the doctor, and he said it was probably a UTI, so he took a sample of urine and started me on some ALPRIM which he said would get working within a day. it's day two and my pain is still there. i really dont think i have a UTI because i have no pain peeing whatso ever, or urination more frequently. i dont know whats wrong? any ideas? moreResolved Question: Points to best answer! I'm 38 weeks now and starting to get anxious! My fiance and I have started walking every night to try to help kick-start labor [so far, no luck!] Last night during our walk, I felt like I could barely make it! Every few feet, the top of my stomach would tighten up and I would get a stabbing pain in my vagina. The sensation would literally stop me in my tracks. After we got home, I took a shower and lay down and felt okay about 30 minutes later. I'm not having any of these symptoms today, but my back and pelvic area hurt so much I feel like I can barely move. I'm a little confused about last night's symptoms. I'm not sure if the tightening feeling in the top of my stomach is Braxton Hicks, or if it's my little girl stretching/moving. Normally I feel Braxton Hicks down low and it's more of a crampy feeling. This is up high and completely painless but it seems to be happening a lot lately. The stabbing pain in my vagina almost felt similar to what I've experienced when I had a UTI, but I'm positive I don't have one. Does this sound like anything you ladies have experienced later on in your pregnancy? Yesterday (Monday) I had bad stomach pains. I am on birth control and have been for a while now. I have been taking them straight through and have not had my period for about 1.5 years, now. I started birth control because I had terrible stomach pains that would leave me bed stricken at least 2 days a month, usually more, and I would have to continually cancel plans. Doctors are stupid and couldn't figure out what it was, so I got on birth control (Planned Parenthood doctors were more intelligent than specialists I went to!), stopped having my period, and for the most part it has helped my stomach pains. So yesterday, I kept having the feeling like I had to go to the bathroom. It was a continuous feeling, all day. Which led me to go to the bathroom once every two hours at work, and about once every 30 minutes at home. Though I didn't really have to go to the bathroom, when I did end up going. I would pee, and then at the end it would start hurting a little. I wouldn't pee blood, but blood started coming out after I stopped peeing, and when I wiped. It isn't period blood, but it's thinner. Kinda like when you get a cut and bleed, but even more thinner and lighter in color. I know all that sounds gross and stuff, but I just want to know if anyone knows what that is. I'm at work so I don't want to be on the phone explaining that to Planned Parenthood in front of everyone, I'd rather ask here first where no one can hear me ask it. Today it's still doing it. I got woken up at 4 am because I had to go to the bathroom and I was bleeding them, too. This morning is the same amount as yesterday morning, not much (like light days of periods). But yesterday afternoon/night was a lot (like medium days of periods). Any help would be great. If I can, I might leave work early and see if I can get into a doctor somewhere. Because not only that, but I've had a cold for a month (sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose), coughing badly for just over a week, and for the past month I might have lost just over 5 pounds because I've barely been eating. But I just hate going to doctors because they are so stupid and rude. Last time I went to a doctor about a bathroom problem (going too much when I'm in high anxiety situations) the doctor laughed at me very rudely :/ Turns out I had a UTI, though, which he refused to research into, I had to find out after going to the ER for something else and they checked my urine. And I'm a very shy person, so that really made it hard for me to trust doctors anymore.When starting birth control you have spotting. I haven't had spotting for over a year. I am trying to get pregnant so 3 weeks ago, i stopped taking the pill. We've been having sex everyday, unprotected, no pulling out. The last two hours, I have had a cramping sensation that is constant- doesn't come and go. My stomach isn't contracting so I don't think that I am having contractions (I don't know, first child!) I am also having some pain here and there in my chest- almost like heart burn. Baby is moving fine, no bleeding. About a month ago, I had this same sensation before bed. Ok this may be a little long On January 14 I was taken to the hospital for severe kidney pain. They did a urine sample and a MRI scan on me to see if i had kidney stones. The test came and showed that I had a UTI and there were no stones. They put me on meds and sent me home I thought it was odd because I didn’t have any pain other than my kidney hurting a lot. So all was good after I took the meds. Until April 24 and it started to hurt when I would go pee and when I did go pee it was like two drops. I went to my doctors and she gave me meds and called me a few days later saying it was not a full UTI (whatever that means) I finished the meds and on may 18 it started to hurt again I went back to the doctors to try to find out answers on why I keep getting them. she put me on more meds and says oh kids your age get them all the time. however ever since my grandmother was 18 she has gotten theme as well and nobody can tell her why she gets them , my mother had ovarian cancer and cyst starting at the age of twenty and I just turned 19. I went home started my meds again and the doctor called me back saying there was nothing wrong at all. I had questions but she didn’t really answer them. A few days after I stopped the meds the pain stopped however my bladder feels complete full I feel no relief when I pee and I’m started to feel like I want to vomit and the bottom of my stomach seems a little hard. I called and told my doctor this but she doesn’t seem concerned. I just have a feeling something’s not right. This is probably gonna be TMI for some of you. For about the last month now, I've been having alot of pain in my right side, blow my ribs and in my lower stomach. It burns and hurts when I use the bathroom. Its not a little bit of burning and pain either. I've tried cranberry juice and drinking water and that doesn't seem to help. I thought it was an UTI, but I think it's gotten a little worse than that now. Has anybody else had this problem or something smiler? The pain has got to the point tonight til it's throbbing and will not ease off. Any suggestions or possible causes to the problems would be greatly appreciated. I have been to the doctors so many times this past month. I had a CT scan for my stomach, and everything came back good. And I just had a little problem where i wasn't eating enough fiber..but i fixed that. and i have acid reflux, and i get bad heartburn, and i constantly think something is seriously wrong with me, but then i get to the doctors and i'm just fine. And I have a UTI now also, and every little pain i get i think something is wrong, even when the doctors tell me I'm ok! it's ridiculous...Even when i have proof that i'm ok, i can't realize it...I need some peace of mind to help me just realize i'm ok. What virus do me and my sons have? My symptoms first started about 4 weeks ago. I started having a sore throat, sneezing,nausea, coughing and body aches. I went to the e.r and they said that I had a cold. The conditions began to worsen with excruciating stomach pain. I went to the e.r again and they did an ultrasound of my stomach and stomach organs. They said everything was in tip-top shape but that i had a UTI. They prescribed me flagyl and cipro. I've been taking it now for 7 days. I still have very bad stomach pain and diarrhea. I saw my doctor and he and the hospital took blood and urine. They said everything looked fine and that all they could see was a UTI. My 5month old began to pull on his stomach and have diarrhea like me. No fever though. Then my stomach started hurting soooo bad...that I was crying. I called my doc and he told me to go to the er. This time I went to a different hospital. They tested me and baby both for influenza and put saline in our nose and a tube to get the saline out. But I don't know if that was the swine flu test...but it was for the flu. Then they took blood and stool samples. They said my baby has a g.i bug but that my kidneys, and everything was working in tip top shape. They couldn't understand the intense stomach pain and nausea. They said that UTI does have some pain...but mine is very bad. I also feel nauseated. Now my 3yr old has diarrhea. I still feel very bad. They tested me for soo much and couldn't find anything. Should they do a cat scan? Is it possible that my sons just have diarrhea like me and that I have a stomach problem? What does this sound like. Over the past 3 months ive gained some problems urinating, sometimes up to every 30 - 60 minutes. Id been getting freezing treatment for genital warts, not sure if that makes a difference. But after a few days of taking this I started having horrible stomach pains. The next day my day dad took me to the hospital(he's a doctor) and checked my urine. I had a raging UTI! Oh it was so horrible. But I was still having burning and itching of my vagina so I continued using the Yeast Infection medicine, but I didn't put the tube all the way up my vagina because I was scared to. Then my UTI cleared up and so did my vagina. But. a few days later I started showing symptoms of a Yeast Infection (Note:I was never actually tested for a yeast infection). My dad put me on diflucan. So it's been about a month and my vagina is still itchy, and sore. I started the 3 day treatment because the other two didn't work obviously. I don't think I have BV or anything serious. My discharge doesn't smell fishy and it is clear and a normal amount. I'm not in major pain, it's just scaring me and I'm sorta annoyed. What do you think iswrong?! I don't think I have another UTI I was peeing blood and very very sick (I didn't want to even go shopping!). I have a doctor's appointment in about two weeks. If I am pregnant, I'm around 7 weeks. I've noticed these little sharp (but not bad) pains in my pelvis. Like a very mild, concentrated cramp. I've noticed that I have to urinate frequently over the last week or so (a kidney/UTI was ruled out before it was suggested I could be pregnant). I'm not sick, but I feel nauseated. Especially if I'm looking at food, or even thinking about food. Just the smell of potato chips or even the ferret's food is turning my stomach. I have a history of early miscarriages, so I've never actually gotten very far. My oldest was 7w1d when I lost it, so this is just about the longest I've carried, if I am at all. The problem is, I don't get accurate results with HPTs (possibly why I miscarry? it may have quit developing, and my levels just never went up enough). Please, serious answers only. I know it's the wrong section, but I'm not getting help elsewhere. I'm getting desperate here.... 22 years old, female, not pregnant. Sharp shooting pain right above right hip bone in stomach area. The pain comes and goes, I have little pains (a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1 to 10) then every 10 min's or so, a really really sharp pain ( a 8 or 9 on a scale of 1 to 10) My lower back is hurting constantly across the whole lower back. I have a low grade fever of 99 degrees. -It is not a UTI, I'm prone to those and am aware of those symptoms. -I'm not sure if it is my appendix or not, a test i know for appendicitis is pressing on the lower back and if it hurts when releasing you have it....it doesn't hurt. But maybe my appendix is irritated somehow. -It's been going on for 3 or 4 hours I do not have medical and it is the middle of the night where I live, I would have to wake up my kids to go to the ER (I don't have a regular DR) I prefer not to go if it isn't an emergency.Definetely NOT a UTI, I am 110% sure of it. I haven't had soda in a week. I took a poopy this morning so i doubt constipation, anyways, wrong area for it to be that.
